Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Whenever we play people comment on the classy atmosphere we create. Classic tunes from the Golden Age of jazz, played by clarinet and piano, is not something you hear everyday.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We formed to play for the Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of the 'Forsyte Saga' that recently played in Stratford-upon-Avon. We played for every production and it went down so well with audiences that we thought we'd keep this jazz train rolling.

Do you have different line-up options?

For larger functions we can add a bass to become a trio or a bass and drums to make us up to a quartet.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If your timings change it is important to let us know as soon as you can. If possible we will accommodate any alterations to timings but this becomes more difficult closer to the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide appropriate music through our PA before and between playing.

How much time do you need to set up?

We always arrive in plenty of time but can be set up within half an hour.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Due to the static nature of the piano we need to be based in one area whilst we perform.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

If there are any songs from our set list that you love then let us know and we will make sure we play them. Similarly, if there are specific moments in your event that you would like a song to appear then please let us know.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Everything we need to perform is included in the quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there's a specific song you would like to hear then we will endeavour to learn it for you. Any more than 2 or 3 of these may incur an additional fee. We will chat through this with you before your event.
