Mr. Chubb's Gastric Band were first formed in 2016 while all the members were still at university. They quickly became one of the top professional function bands in the Bristol University circuit, and currently have a residency at The White Rabbit in Bristol. Through their numerous private performances at venues such as Ashton Court Manor, The Royal Marriott Hotel, Bristol Museum of Art and History and the Royal West of England Academy of Art they have become popular with student societies and law firms alike, and of course, wedding parties! Their usual 8-piece set up is extremely versatile, and can cover jazz standards through to funked-up covers of Rihanna and Adele.

We have used Mr Chubb's Gastric Band for two university events and they did a fantastic job each time! Our guests loved their performance and got out of their seats to dance. We would highly recommend using this band and we will certainly ask them to perform again. They are really easy to work with and very reliable. They turn up on time and get great music!

Mr Chubb’s Gastric Band turned a good night into a banging party. Whether it’s a funked up Rihanna tune or a classic James Brown, each and every member serves up some crazy talent, all together sharing an infectious chemistry and energy that got every last one of us up and dancing!
