Meeting as students at the University of East Anglia, we have been performing together for over 6 years. We absolutely love partying with you and want to bring that vibe to YOUR event. We got married last year and were lucky enough to book Move Your Brass, and they were nothing short of exceptional. The band were incredibly accommodating and fitted to our schedule (and our last-minute changes!) and put together a wonderful arrangement of the song we had chosen for our first dance. The band were great through the entire process and nothing was too much trouble. Even now, several months after the wedding, the thing that the majority of our guests remember is the band! We had guests of all ages (the youngest was only a few months old) but every single person was up on the dance floor at some point during the evening. The selection of music was fantastic and the level of skill and professionalism from the band was unbelievable. I cannot recommend Move Your Brass enough; they are a brilliant live band that really will make any occasion.

''Sheer enjoyment from start to finish'' Move Your Brass are a real class act. They are a 10 piece band, very professional and talented with a brilliant brass section. With their incredible tight rhythms, gorgeous vocals and a cracking selection of classic songs, they had everyone on their feet dancing and grooving to the beat. I haven’t enjoyed an evening so much for a long time. For my next big celebration I am definitely going to book them!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are high-energy, quality performance who always deliver a fantastic night of dancing and music. With 3 world class singers, and a tight, live horn section; we are a band which your guests/clients will remember for years to come. We guarantee a good time for all!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at a large range of venues across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire including The Assembly House, Waxham Barn, Octagon Barn, Dunston Hall, Magdalene College (Uni of Cambridge), Kettles Yard and are due to play at the Leander Club in Henley-Upon-Thames in 2024.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We love bringing a twist to the fantastic artists that we cover! We are influenced by a lot of great artists with lively horn sections, such as Vulfpeck, Cat Empire, Scary Pockets and Cut Capers.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We are due to play at the Henley Regatta in 2024!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes they will! The whole band is always advertised as you see us! Of course, people can sometimes not make a gig but we have a select pool of fantastic and reliable deps who can step in if needed who are more than up for the job!

Do you have different line-up options?

We either come as the full ten-piece party band, or as a smaller Jazz quintet if that suits your event better!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are flexible with things like this, but we do require as much notice as you can give us for any changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, this is included free of charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We ask for around an hour if possible, but the more time we can have, the better!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We always encourage a client to let us know if you have any preferences/requests from the setlist, but we also know what songs are best to get everyone dancing from our vast experience!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We offer one song request free of charge in the booking fee.
