Morassi Quartet

The Morassi Quartet is a dynamic string quartet based in London, formed in 2018 while its members - Natasha, Katie, Toby, and Iza - were in their first term at the Royal College of Music. Since then, they have built a diverse and thriving career, blending classical performances with contemporary versatility. The quartet has performed at prestigious classical festivals and venues such as Lake District Summer Music, Dartington Summer Music, Berkshire Chamber Music Festivals, Garsington Opera, Southwark Cathedral, Brighton Royal Pavilion, and the Royal Albert Hall’s Classical Coffee Mornings series, among others. They have also taken their music internationally, performing at the “Muzyka u Źródeł” Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland in 2023, and were invited to the Tunnell Trust’s Music Coll in 2024, where they received mentorship from renowned chamber musicians. Alongside their classical engagements, the Morassi Quartet has become a staple of the popular Candlelight Concerts series by Fever, performing over 200 concerts in the UK and Germany to audiences of 400–500 people per event. Their repertoire here ranges from string quartet arrangements of hits by Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, ABBA, and Taylor Swift to iconic film scores by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Ennio Morricone, as well as vibrant Bollywood and Tollywood pieces. The quartet also actively collaborates with contemporary artists, including Polydor-signed singer Cian Ducrot, and has participated in high-profile events at venues such as Disney and Berners Tavern. They are passionate about education projects, delivering concerts for children and leading string workshops with secondary school students. The Morassi Quartet has provided music for 100+ weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
