I had Moonlight Serenade Orchestra play throughout the reception at my wedding and they were absolutely amazing, as I knew they would be. I had a 7 piece band and they were all extremeley talented musicians. The music was brilliant and it created a wonderful atmosphere for my reception. Working with them in the lead up to the big day was also so easy, they were professional and together we created a set list so I could have all my favourite songs played. I will definitely want to hire them again for any future parties and would 100% recommend them to anyone! They are simply superb!

Do you have different line-up options?

We can provide anything from a jazz duo up to a full 18 piece swing band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will be as flexible as possible to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If a PA and sound engineer are provided as part of the booking we can provide a DJ style service.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up and sound check between 1.5 - 2 hours prior to performance.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Dependent on the option chosen we can provide strolling musicians.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We will provide a list of the numbers we play and will work with you to give the best options for set lists.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

If required then our quote will include PA, sound engineers and lighting.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

It is always worth talking through with us, however if we have to purchase the music charts especially we would charge for these.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients can see how much our musicians enjoy working together, our powerhouse sound and our overall willingness to be flexible.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Everywhere from under the wing of a Spitfire at the Duxford Air Museum to a 1500 seater theatre. We have provided a New Orleans style jazz procession for a funeral and performed with the D-day darlings at RAF bases in the UK.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As a swing and jazz band our influences are Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra and the other greats of the era.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion at the Sands in Carlisle.
