We are Pop & Rock Covers band comprised of professional musicians and entertainers with vast experience in performing live events and planning live performances. We have come together as Moon Rivers through our shared love of the upbeat music of the nineties and noughties. We lean towards a guitar-driven, high-energy indie, rock and pop anthems from the likes of Queen, Kings of Leon, Bruno Mars, The Killers and Oasis but you will quickly discover that we are not afraid to throw in a few of the era's infectious pop classics from artists like S Club 7, The Spice Girls and The Rembrandts (yes, that’s the Friends theme song!) creating an audacious mix that's certain to get your nostalgia senses tingling, and have you and your guests singing and dancing all night! Rounding out our repertoire with pacy covers of the 50s and 60s rock n roll classics for vintage lovers and up-to-the-minute modern chart hits for the youngsters (and young at heart), we are the complete function band with only one goal in mind – to transform your event into a joyful, non-stop party. We thrive off the energy and fun of a live performance and want you and your guests to have as good a time on the dance floor as we do on stage. Fronted by a powerful male vocalist who is also a witty entertainer with years of experience working for Europe’s finest 5-star holiday resorts and backed by ultra-tight bass, electrifying guitar and foot-stomping drums, we are a band with a big sound and matching personality. We manage the band ourselves (shout out to our bassist and admin/logistics extraordinaire, Allen) which means that YOU receive a competitive, all-inclusive price and above all prompt, personal and friendly service! We have everything we need to bring you and your guests a proper live performance, including a professional PA sound system and lighting, a fog machine, a laptop playlist DJ service and party props to create a party mood from the minute we arrive. If you are booking us for your wedding reception, we will also learn and perform your first dance if it isn’t already in our repertoire, making it easy to personalise this special part of your Big day.
