Nick and Laurie are both highly skilled musician with many years of experience. They offer an excellent level of professionalism and quality providing a sophisticated backdrop to elevate any occasion. Their repertoire consists of jazz standards, classic soul and when requested jazz infused pop songs. They are friendly and easy to work with. Laurie has been performing as a solo singer songwriter for many years and in cover bands and as a backing singer. Some highlights of her career include performing backing vocals with the band Lindisfarne and some memorable performances at her favourite venue the glasshouse. Laurie studied music at the prestigious London College of Music where she got her degree in popular music performance. Laurie is both a skilled singing teacher as well as performer. Nick Pride has had much experience performing and had a lot of success with his funk/soul band Nick Pride and the Pimptones. They were particular popular in Italy so Nick has spend much of his on tour playing to large audiences around beautiful parts of Europe. Settled now in the north east you wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to hear such a highly skilled virtuoso player.
