Molly is a composer, arranger and performer based in London, holding a scholarship to study Composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Laurence Crane. Her compositions have been played in locations such as Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Clore Ballroom in the Southbank Centre, The Tate Britain, The Sage Gateshead, as well as part of art and museum installations across Europe. Molly was a composer for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain between 2013-2014 and received training from Anna Meredith, Larry Goves, and Chris Mayo among others.
Molly is also a keen Flautist and Pianist, holding DipABRSM with distinction in Flute performance and regularly performs with orchestras and chamber ensembles as a Flautist. Her piano performance is now mostly within Jazz and Contemporary music and has played with artists such as Jules Buckley, Dave Holland, Laurie Holloway, Maverick Sabre and Jacob Banks. She also regularly plays as a pit musician for various theatre companies, shows including Geoids Theatre production of Sunset Boulevard, and for the National Youth Music Theatre.
Since coming to Guildhall Molly has developed an interest in writing for media, sonic art, electronics and live performance installations with credits including "Newton Knowledge Installation" as part of the Gravity Fields Festival and the "Forgotten Spaces Festival 2015" in Frieberg, Germany. Expanding on her work for electronics and production Molly works closely with record label 4AD and Nonclassical.
Molly is currently working alongside composer Sam Hall and their self-run orchestra (Orchestra T:40), arranging music for an upcoming gig, in collaboration with Singer and Cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson.
