About Mojo

Pianist
London
Public liability insurance of £1 million
Blues piano specialist, also purveyor of jazz, pop, soul, country - good music has no boundaries. Over 20 years' performance experience.

Bringing the heart of the Mississippi Delta to the streets of London, through regular performances with my rhythm & blues group, incorporating fresh takes on classic tunes and showcasing the acerbic writing talents of new songs composed by yours truly. Was resident pianist at Westfield London for over two years, playing a mixture of blues, jazz, pop, rock, soul. Highlight being the bizarre coincidence of performing Bohemian Rhapsody while Queen guitarist Brian May was standing (unbeknownst to me) at the end of the piano. Notable gigs include: Houses of Parliament; Pizza on the Park; Queen Elizabeth Hall; 'Round Midnight Jazz and Blues Bar (RIP).

Reviews

From customers:

Well presented, courteous and played a nice selection of music. Particularly enjoyed hearing Pinball Wizard and Ghostbusters!

Mr M, 2 years ago

Provided nice background to my event but made sure it was never boring or ‘too jazzy’ if you know what I mean.
