Moira is a cellist, currently studing for a PGCE in secondary science at Darwin College, Cambridge. She has played with some of the most prestigious ensembles of the University and frequently deputises for college and university-level concerts, including CUMS Symphony Orchestra, the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra and the Cambridge University Strings Ensemble. Moira also performs frequently in pit bands and on stage with singer-songerwriters. Recently, she has performed in several concerts with the ever-enjoyable Cambridge University Pops Orchestra, as well as taking part in and organising string quartets for weddings and functions. During her time at Churchill College, Moira presided over college musical events as the Music Sizar (2012-2014) and the Co-president of Orchestra on the Hill (2013-2014), culminating in a performance of Part I of the Handel Messiah with Churchill College Choirs and Orchestra on the Hill in November 2013. Also a keen singer, Moira has been a member of the Choir of the Chapel at Churchill College since 2011, including as a choral scholar (2013-14).
