They were just great! Some brilliant impromptu MC-ing for our cake cutting and first dance, for which we were very grateful, helped the day go smoothly. We hired Jonathan as a duo - double bassist and piano for our wedding drinks reception and it was an absolute pleasure. When I met Jonathan on the day, he was polite and very professional. They arrived promptly and we discussed the evening and how the client would like it to go. They were so flexible with discussing the timings especially as my client changed the brief slightly but they were more than happy to accommodate. Having this can do attitude not only makes my job as an event organiser so much easier but also helps the client relax and know that they are in good hands. The group entertained the party during dinner and certainly set the mood and got people into the Christmas spirit - this was a MUST. Thank you again for being so friendly and professional. Would certainly recommend.

Absolutely loved working with Nouveau Lounge - they customized their music (which was fantastic!) for our event, were incredibly responsive and an overall pleasure to work with. What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We've performed at some wonderful private parties including a castle in Scotland. Corporate clients including The Gherkin, Protectline, Banham, Spy Alarms.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

5 piece: Vocals, Piano, Double Bass, Drums, Sax/Clarinet 6 piece: Vocalist, Piano, D.Bass, Drums, Sax/Clarinet & Trumpet 7 piece: 2 Vocalists, Piano, D.Bass, Drums, Sax/Clarinet & Trumpet 8 piece: 2 Vocalists, Piano, D.Bass,, Drums, Sax/Clarinet, Trumpet & Trombone 9 piece: 2 Vocalists, Piano, D.Bass,, Drums, Tenor Sax/Clarinet, Alto Sax, Trumpet & Trombone.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If you require an earlier arrival, or later finish than what we we have agreed on, there is an hourly charge

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, this is free of charge (ipod background music). If you require a professional DJ, this is £125 per hour.

How much time do you need to set up?

90mins to set up and soundcheck a 5 piece. 2 hours for up to 9 piece.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting is included in your quote. We use our in house PA and lighting for our 5 and 6 piece lineups. The piece band requires a bigger PA setup and soundman to manage the sound on the event to make sure everything runs smoothly. We require 5 x 3metres for the 5 piece and a minimum of 7 x 4 metres for the 9 piece band.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £60 to have this arranged, the band will be happy to play this for you.
