Vaughn Richardson

I’m Vaughn Richardson, a musician, teacher, and conductor with a passion for making music accessible, engaging, and enjoyable. I work as a pianist, organist, countertenor, baritone, and saxophonist, and I’m equally at home performing, accompanying, conducting ensembles, or leading choirs. I’m super chill and happy to help in anyway I can! I spent seven years as a Lay Clerk at St Davids Cathedral, an experience that shaped both my musicianship and my love of choral music. Since then, I’ve built a varied career combining performance with music education. I teach privately as well as in a secondary school, and I enjoy helping musicians of all ages develop their confidence and skills. I’m also the Director of Adamas Voces, where I have the privilege of working with a fantastic group of singers who explore a wide range of choral repertoire. Whether I’m performing at a concert, playing for a wedding or service, accompanying a choir, or conducting an ensemble, my aim is always the same: to provide music that suits the occasion and is performed to the highest standard. I enjoy working with people, adapting to different settings, and helping make every event both memorable and enjoyable.
