Miss Jones Duo

Miss Jones is a vintage style vocalist & multi-instrumentalist based in London & brand ambassador for Lengardo Guitars. Miss Jones' blues-infused singing and guitar playing hail to the great Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Elvis & Peggy-Lee to name a few. Clients include Alexandra Palace, The National Gallery, Wilton's Music Hall, Fever Up, BBC, and various residencies including Cahoots, Daisy Green Collection, Gaucho and Mrs Riot. Miss Jones loves all things vintage - from music and fashion to books and film, which reflects in her performances. She is currently on a 19 date tour of major Country Shows around England, and an EP set for release by the end of 2022. I offer a duo EITHER with double bass and vocals/guitar OR 2 x guitar, 2 vocals (male and female) so you can decide which one you would wish to have. Our repertoire includes Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Patsy Cline, Chuck Berry, Peggy Lee, Nina Simone, Wanda Jackson, & Elvis to name a few. Mainly pre-1963 covers with some modern songs in too depending on the event. If the audience is a younger audience I'll also add in Adele & Amy Winehouse. Since I've started we have had many positive reviews about our act; being featured in the Islington Gazette and had rave reviews on Music-News and also five star reviews on Encoremusicians. Clients have included: - Performing at Alexandra Palace & recently we have been invited to open for the Alexandra Palace Fireworks infront of 35,000 people per night in Nov 2019 over a two day period. - A weekly slot at Cahoots cocktail bar in Soho for over a year. - Cooperate gigs for HSBC and others - A regular gig with a full house band at Ain’t Nothing But The Blues Bar - A weekly Saturday residency at Daisy Green Collection in Mayfair - A year long weekly residency at Bebopalula '50s bar in Hackney - A monthly jazz residency every last Sunday at The Lamb pub - Summer in the Square Festival in Mayfair, - BBC's Fringe Weekend Festival - The Royal and West Showground, - Vintage fairs like Pop Up Vintage - Wilton's Music Hall - Silent Summer Screening Outdoor Cinema at various locations in the UK - Bootleggers music venue - Many charity events and care homes.
