Miss Holiday and the Swingtones are a 5 piece band with female vocals, sax, piano, double bass and drums. Their mix of swing, jive and jazz classics combined with vintage interpretations of modern songs appeals to a wide range of audiences and age groups, The band is ideal for vintage festivals, dance events, gigs, weddings and celebrations. We have been lucky enough to perform at some prestigious events and venues this year including the Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival. We have returned for various concerts at The Alexander Centre in Faversham and opened for Macmillan Mayhem charity event. All experienced and professional musicians, Miss Holiday and the Swingtones can cater for any size event, from parties through to weddings and corporate entertaining, including a DJ if required

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes - Our singer Miss Holiday Swing can perform as a solo singer e.g during a wedding ceremony - check out her website https://missholidayswing.co.uk/

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide background music through our PA, prior, during our break and for 30 minutes after the conclusion of our performance.

How much time do you need to set up?

This will depend on the nature of the event. For example, a party with guests arriving at 7.30 pm the band will arrive approximately 6.00pm to load the equipment into the venue, set up and sound check. Arrangements for weddings will be discussed with the client so the band can arrive and set up as discretely as possible at a suitable break in proceedings.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes - Mis Holiday and our saxophone player are able to move around freely

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We will provide our own high quality sound system and stage lighting.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to learn a first dance or a special request.
