Miss Annie & The Midnight Shift

Miss Annie & The Midnight Shift are soon becoming the biggest and most exciting roots rhythm and blues band to hit the Vintage scene!!!! The band fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Miss Annie backed by her six piece band comprising guitar, drums, double bass, tenor sax & baritone sax. Their repertoire is sizeable, taking in such musical luminaries as the great R&B artists of the 1950s & 60s including Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Ruth Brown and Irma Thomas to name a few. Miss Annie & The Midnight Shift have already played at some major events in the UK including The Goodwood Revival, Hep Cats Holiday, The Big Jive, Boogaloo Promotions Jive Weekender, Gloster Swing Dance, Hop Til You Drop, the Atomic Vintage Festival 2017, Beaulieu Hot Rod Show and have recently branched out into the European scene with gigs at Nyttarsrock 2018 Weekender (Norway) and The Heat (Amsterdam). Forthcoming gigs include The Paris Flying Festival (France), Jumpin At The Woodside. a return visit to Gloster Swing Dance in 2019, The Vintage Nostalgia Festival & The Vintage For Victory Festival. The band have just released their debut album 'Won't Be Long' on the Foot Tapping Records Label.
