I wanted something very special for my mother’s birthday as a surprise and I knew she loved opera. Miranda is quite well known in Bath as she busks in between engagements in opera houses internationally. She was extremely professional and my mother and her guests were blown away by her performance. Not being an opera connoisseur myself I asked for a small 20 minute programme of different styles. She sang sacred music, musical theatre and of course, opera. She was able to fit in with our plans for the evening and even explained the songs she was singing in a very fun way. She even sang some encores as my mother and her friends were loving it so much. We are still talking about it 2 years later and it made the night an incredible evening! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I met Miranda Keys at a Christmas party for the residents of a Bath Almshouse in 2017. Not only does Miranda have a powerful soprano voice but she is also a wonderful entertainer. Besides opera and other well-known songs she led us in carol singing; an evening hugely enjoyed by all. So impressed was I that I invited Miranda to sing after dinner to 60 guests at our Golden Wedding celebrations the following year. She did not disappoint! Entering the dining room with a rousing Happy Birthday to one of our guests and continuing with anecdotes and a series of opera and other songs, which we had selected together, created a really memorable evening. As a result she was engaged to sing on New Year’s Eve by the hotel! Miranda can sing on an international opera stage, busk or add glamour to wide-ranging events. She will electrify them all!
