Miguel (Miko) Cuevas

Miguel Cuevas, Drummer, and Percussionist started his studies at the age of 10 learning from very important percussionists like Tupac Mantilla and Fran Calzadilla, which had a big influence on the development of his technic. After he finished high school, he started a bachelor degree at Universidad Javeriana de Bogota where he develop his jazz and improvisation technics with the Master Jorge Sepulveda. His versatility and technic have taken him to play with a huge number of artist not only in Colombia but in cities like New York, London, and Miami.
