Mike Rags, real name Michael Ragrag, is a musician and DJ who brings a humorous perspective to life through his music. With over twenty years of experience in the music industry, he has been a drummer and backing vocalist for his band Nugroovz, as well as a songwriter and percussionist for other bands. Mike has performed both nationally and internationally, including touring with The Prince's Trust Rock School and collaborating with artists such as The Spice Girls, Billy Ocean, Trevor Rabin, David Pomeranz, and Omar. In addition to his performances, Mike is also skilled in music production and has a strong understanding of Music Technology. He has written several songs, including a tribute to boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, and recently secured a music publishing deal in the US. Mike obtained a Bachelor of Music degree from Westminster University in 2016.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My clients love my song choices on performances. I get them dancing all the time the moment they step into the dance floor.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in venues such as. Sheraton Hotels, Holiday Inn, Dance clubs, Pubs, Private & Corporate Events, Including Overseas.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I am influenced by various music artist ranging from various types of music genres

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The most high profile gig I have performed was at a club in London Mayfair for various celebrities such as; Chris Evans, Des’ree, Tinie Tempah, TQ, Leo Sayer, Robbie Williams, Natalie Imbruglia, to name a few.

Do you have different line-up options?

I can sing if you want me to or host & mc at your event or party.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will require £200 deposit, and this will be refundable 1 month before your event if you change your mind or if your event is cancelled.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide an iPOD/DJ, Background Music between my sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually take 30-1 Hour to set up my equipment.

Can you roam around while you perform?

I can walk around or your host or presenter as I will have a wireless mic. And I can accommodate up to 5 microphones.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You are welcome to pick the songs that I have on my set list, or you can provide a set list for me if you wish.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All equipment for the events are included on my quotes for small events, medium events and big events for your wedding, birthday and corporate party.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Song request are very welcome. You can request songs as long as it fits with the event and performance type.
