Self-taught musician that regularly plays in restaurants, hotel venues, weddings and private events. He's 25 years old now and has gathered an great amount of experience from his live concerts. He wants to further his studies in Jazz guitar while also continuing evolving in the acoustic guitar, playing fingerstyle which is his best skill. Miguel was a brilliant guitarist! He totally made our night. We booked him as back ground music while we were eating dinner at a birthday party. He read the mood group perfectly & played music to suit. Miguel was easy to deal with via email before hand and he turned up early on the night to check the venue first. All in all a brilliant choice. Would highly recommend.

O Miguel tocou recentemente no nosso destination wedding numa quinta perto de Lisboa (somos um casal irlandês e canadiano). Ele estava lá mais cedo, e tocou durante todo o tempo do cocktail. Os nossos convidados adoraram a música dele e dos seus covers, foi um excelente pano de fundo para as pessoas se misturarem. Muito amigável e profissional. Recomendaria bastante. Miguel is an amazing professional. Not only is he's a very talented guitar player, which is very easily proven by his portfolio, as he is a very fast learner. He has the capacity to fulfill our couples requests with a very short notice. Miguel is also punctual, kind and friendly, which contributes to the success of any event.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! This is a really popular request and, in between my set, I usually put some music playing. In case iPod music is needed out of the agreed performance timing some charges may apply but it can be discussed.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up 30-min to 1-hour before the performance time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Sure.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

My set lists is crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to each moment. However, I would gladly accept 1 music request, depending on how hard they are to be played on the guitar or even if it's possible to do it with just one guitar. If you wish more song requests there may be a fee involved for arranging and practicing time involved

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They love to hear songs from their childhood years to nowadays music being played with just one guitar, it leaves everybody singing the melody in their head for guaranteed

Mainly Portuguese wedding venues and Hotels

Tommy Emmanuel, Julian Lage and George Benson

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've got requested to play near Barcelona, while I was in Lisbon, for a 2 people birthday party with their family members. It was a lot of fun, a caught a flight and rented a car + sleepover and there was plenty of people there. I also played in a Lawyers firm anniversary dinner with the current Portuguese president.
