Michael has recently completed his BA (hons) in Music at the University of Chichester, achieving a First Class Honours degree. At the University, Michael was involved with many of the University’s productions as Repetiteur, Chorus Master and Assistant Musical Director. Michael also worked as the Musical Director for some student-led productions and for the Lavant Players.
Michael is also a very keen composer, with several of his compositions and arrangements being performed by ensembles at the University and on tour in Guernsey. His dissertation featured new settings of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittus with a Gloria and the anthem God So Loved The World.
Having left University, Michael is now looking to further his career in Music having recently taken on the role of Musical Director for St. Andrew’s Church, West Tarring in Worthing. He currently works as the Assistant Musical Director for the Solent Male Voice Choir, who have recently performed in the Royal Albert Hall, and as accompanist to the Fareham Philharmonic Choir.
