After playing open mic and jam nights from the age of fourteen, Michael Parker has gained a reputation as an exciting up and coming musician. This has grown into a profession of playing guitar, singing, teaching and session work. A full time musician with a large repertoire, from 1960s and the way up to current chart hits. Roots within Soul and Country music bring a husky vocal tone and a bluesy approach to Pop and Rock covers. After initially being a lead guitarist for function bands and session work, a blues trio playing the best in blues, rock and soul developed and is currently gigging. Gasoline Alley are still actively gigging and can be booked for weddings, bars and events.

Michael played for my Birthday party. Everyone enjoyed it and the vibe was great! I requested a few tracks for him to learn before hand which he pulled off and it was great surprise having them played!

.Michael did a great performance for our wedding. Not an easy one as we had a list of tune that we wanted to be played. But he did it beautifully and brought the right atmosphere for the ceremony. Fantastic guitar player and singer we just wanted to keep you all the evening with us. Thanks again Michael it was a perfect day.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and I actually offer this service. If you'd like a DJ service via my PA after the final set until the venue closes, please let me the details and we can arrange something.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for my live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, I'm definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! All I need from you is a plug point!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm happy to do this for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I offer alternative takes on popular covers and can reflect an audience needing to chill or be upbeat and dancing!
