A rounded musician that can play to many genres (you get to know more in person lol) I’m chiefly a drummer/ percussionist with over 20 years experience. I’m also a singer- capable of singing all harmonies. I play the drums and lead or back-up at the same time. I can play the piano, keyboard, and bass guitar at beginners’ level too. I have knowledge of music theory, create music, and I’m a sound engineer too.

Michael is an artistic and proficient musician, focusing mainly on drums but with a competent understanding of keyboard, bass guitar, vocals and live sound. I forget how long we have played together but I know it’s at least 6 years. In the time, we have worked on a number of projects including covers from popular gospel artists as well as composing our own songs for both concerts and studio records. He has a good understanding of creativity and is not afraid to explore an entire instrument to obtain the sound or feel, that he knows the song needs. He comes highly recommend from me as his MD, and I’m honoured to have the opportunity to play with him.

Oh wow!!! Michael is amazing, he played at my renewal in September 2017. He played the drums and sang; I must say everyone couldn’t stop dancing. He was so professional and he went far and beyond my expectations. I will recommend him.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I really try to be flexible- as things do happen, only let me know as early as possible so there no disappointments.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide PA for a small to medium venue - this cost is from £400 or more depending on say number of microphones (wired/wireless), extra speakers/stands, distance, location...

How much time do you need to set up?

I only need around 20 minutes to get accustomed to drums' setting and fine tuning. If for PA set up, at least an hour to an hour and a half.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I show up with my playing gear for now. I can bring a PA system from the price stated above. If a drum set is needed, we can have a chat and decide if it will be feasible; this is distance and location dependant and may attract a high cost.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can learn specific pieces if required- upon assessment, there will be a charge of £50 which is negotiable.
