Formed at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Metamorfosi brings together musicians from all around the world. The ensemble benefits from the wide-ranging experiences and rich cultures of its musicians. For the members of Metamorfosi, playing music is so much more than a profession, it is a lifestyle. Every note we play reflects a passion for life, which we want to share whenever we can. We chose the name Metamorfosi to represent the transformative nature of music, and its incredible ability to enhance an atmosphere. Metamorfosi can perform as a String Duo, String Trio, String Quartet or any other required formation.

Do you have different line-up options?

We have unlimited line up options! We are primarily a string group, able to cater to any line-up requests. Our standard options are as follows: Duo - violin and cello OR violin and harp OR violin and guitar Trio - 2 violins and cello Quartet - 2 violins, viola and cello If you have any special instrument request ideas then just let us know!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we’ll do our best to cater to your needs.

How much time do you need to set up?

We would arrive between 30-60 minutes before playing, and it takes approximately 15 minutes to set up and be ready to play.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes you can! You can request songs to play or not play from our song list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

We can do this for an additional fee of £5.
