Melissa Guiliano grew up in Peoria, Illinois, a working class town just south of Chicago. Originally, she studied saxophone at Evangel University, Springfield, Missouri where she also performed in scenes from Le nozze di Figaro and The Mikado, as well as choruses with the Springfield Regional Opera and Springfield Symphony Chorus. After coming to the UK, she studied with Helen Groves and Ashley Stafford in Cambridge, before completing her MMus at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, studying with Louise Crane. Most recently, she's performed in public masterclasses for Ann Murray, and for Madelyn Renée. Melissa currently works in Cambridge as a musician, performing in recitals, wedding ceremonies, performance art and various shows with Brickhouse Theatre Company and ADC Theatre. Melissa also enjoys teaching and singing in care homes, with special needs students, and young children, and has taken a role as concert manager with ‘Bach to Baby'.
