LaGrande has honed her craft criss-crossing continents as a Celtic violinist with the National Dance Company of Ireland. She has performed inside Kremlin Palace for an audience of 7000 and has toured across North America, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Russia, Kazakhstan and Japan. LaGrande was hired by the American College Football Classic to perform live on ESPN in Aviva Stadium, Dublin for an audience of 30 000. Meg is a featured soloist for Virgin Voyages and can be found on board Richard Branson’s Flag Ship performing for audiences on both sides of the equator — Mauritius, to South Africa, Morocco to the Mediterranean, Europe and Miami. While a regular in the events circuit, LaGrande is also a sought after session player for some of the music industry’s leading artists. We were so delighted that Meaghan was a part of our wedding day. The entertainment she provided what exactly what we wanted for after dinner and everyone really enjoyed it. Not just her music but her vibrant and fun personality lifted the spirit in the whole room and left us with no lull after dinner. The time between dinner and the band starting was the perfect time for Meaghan to be entertaining and she worked with the band to be finishing up as they started. The kids at the wedding absolutely adored Meaghan and she was so kind to them. Meaghan worked the room wonderfully and tables would come to life when she approached them. I couldn't recommend Meaghan highly enough and can't wait to see her perform again.

Amazing! Meg created such a gorgeous atmosphere at our wedding ceremony in Kilkea Castle Last Nov 2023. I cannot recommend her enough. From the outset Meg accommodated all our music requests and a pleasure to deal with. I wasn't expecting Meg’s interaction with our guests as she played - it was phenomenal and really set the tone for the rest of our magical day! We were so amazed that we cheekily asked her to play the next day at our Day 2 party. We realised that she would have been phenomenal at the cocktail reception inside the castle to entertain guests after the ceremony as well. But thankfully Meg was available to play the next day at the Day 2 and she had our family and friends dancing the hangover away! Unreal! Incredible energy! Cant wait to book her for our next party!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Aviva Stadium for an audience of 30 000 live on ESPN for the American College Football Classic. I was the soloist - performing on the pitch with drummers, dancers and fireworks! I also performed as a soloist with a Celtic Show in Kremlin Palace for 7000 people in Moscow, Russia.

Do you have different line-up options?

My line up consists of a solo violin, with high quality backing tracks. I also have a two piece option with a singer/guitarist. We are available as an acoustic duo for ceremonies, drinks receptions or hotels/ restaurant bars.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set list is crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, I’m definitely happy to learn up to three new song requests!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument and provide a PA and wireless system.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there is a good chance that I already know it, not every song I perform is listed online. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I’d be happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. ”
