Max Ireland graduated from the Royal Welsh College of music and drama with a 2:1 and has embarked on a freelance career as a percussionist and drummer. He has appeared with the orchestra of the a Welsh National Opera and also performs with BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Max's current teaching posts include work for Merthyr Music Service, The Vale school of music and The International Music School as well as teaching privately in South Wales. Other work includes pit orchestras, chamber ensembles and function bands, utilising both his percussion and drum kit skills. Max holds a full DBS and public liability insurance and is a member of the Musician's Union
