What do your clients love most about your performances?
My versatile performance style makes me an ideal fit for any occasion. I've been known to learn requests on the spot and I aim to keep the dance floor packed with an eclectic mix of songs that everybody can sing along to.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I've had the pleasure of performing at so many wonderful venues such as Chatsworth House, Bourton Hall, Donington Park Farmhouse, Haarlem Mill, Grangefields, Shottle Hall, The Priest House Hotel, The Hurt Arms Ambergate, Thornbridge Hall, Hazlewood Castle, Scrivelsby Walled Garden and many more.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
There aren't many genres of music that I'm not a fan of. However the standout artists for me have to be Foo Fighters, Brian Fallon and Mighty Oaks
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
My band The Fine Art Society performed at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms which was an amazing experience.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I always try my best to be flexible and to accommodate any changes in timings. If the timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Of course. I can provide background music during the breaks in live music and up to 30 minutes after the last song for absolutely free. If you're looking for a DJ service that runs after the final set until the venue closes I can provide this for an additional £200.
How much time do you need to set up?
Setting up takes approximately 90 minutes and packing down takes roughly 45 minutes. I can begin playing background music as soon as the PA system is set up and ready.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Yes you can. I'd be more than happy to have a chat about performing your favourite songs ahead of the day. But if you don't mind, I have been able to fine tune my ability to read a room effectively and pick the ideal songs on the spot based on an audiences response to suit the atmosphere.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, I can provide my own sound system and party lighting.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes of course, if the song(s) are to be played during the wedding ceremony or for the first dance then I will learn them at your request for no additional cost. For all other special song requests there is a set charge per song which covers my rehearsal time.
