About Matthew

Singer (tenor)
London
Tenor based in South-East London/ Essex. Ex Trinity College Cambridge Choral Scholar.

I have been singing in church choirs from the age of 10. I sang regularly at Brentwood Cathedral both as a treble and later as a tenor and sang with a number of school choirs during my earlier singing years. In 2014 I was awarded a choral scholarship from the choir of Trinity College Cambridge and held this for three years until July 2017 when I graduated. I have also been involved in opera singing the part of Monostatos in Mozart's The Magic Flute in 2017. In my relatively short singing career, I have already sung live on the radio several times with different choirs and been on tours to Rome (singing in the Parthenon and St Peter's Basilica), Switzerland, U.S.A, Germany, Hong Kong, Australia and Canada (Ontario).
