Hi! I am Matty Lambert, also known as Lambo Sax. I am a London based saxophonist. Recently graduating from Trinity Laban, I am available to play for your suited occasion. I regularly play saxophone at weddings and events around the UK, bringing them to life! I also play jazz, regularly playing at jazz venues across London such as Ronnie Scotts, Vortex Jazz Club and Oliver’s Jazz Bar. I have the Matty Lambert Quartet, perfect for background music at venues.

Both Matt and I wanted to give you a massive shout out. You did an amazing job at our wedding, you were so accommodating with playing our entrance song request and also for doing our bespoke first dance song. We hired Matt to play as part of a band (which he organised) and also alongside a DJ for our wedding. Matt was very professional and easy to deal with, responding promptly to all our emails and queries and proactively suggesting songs and how to put the day together. Matt was also accommodating of all our requests and managed to always find a way to make our songs come to life! The music was great, and the band and Matt were really lovely (and lively) and got all the guests on the dance floor. Pleasure to deal with and they really made our wedding! All the guests were raving about the music.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Definitely the interactive nature of my performances and creating a buzz at the event with my playing and tune selection

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at Wedding Venues such as High Billinghurst Farm, Bingham Riverhouse and the Tithe Barn. In terms of commercial venues, I have played at Megan's, Dirty Martini and Greenwich Market

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have mainly been influenced by jazz artists such as Bob Berg and John Coltrane. However I love listening to and playing along with EDM artists such as Bakermat and Klingande.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

My festival appearances include playing at El Dorado Festival and supporting Scouting for Girls at the Priory Festival. In terms of jazz gigs, I have played at the likes of Vortex Jazz Club and Ronnie Scott's

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am very flexible, to accommodate customer requirements

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a playlist in between my sets

How much time do you need to set up?

It will only take me up to 30 minutes to set up. I will arrive around 1 hour before I start playing.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course, songs can be requested to add to my playlist I use.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Absolutely, I only need power sockets provided.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Of course, as long as I have plenty of notice but there may be an extra charge for this service
