Matthew Fletcher

Matthew is an award-winning accompanist, pianist and chamber musician, and performs at many of the UK’s major venues. Recent highlights include several televised performances with Danielle De Niese for the BBC, an appearance with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa on Sky Arts, recitals with Sir Thomas Allen, and Wigmore Hall debut recitals with Sam Furness, Gareth Brynmor John and Keri Fuge. His competition successes include the accompanist prize at the 2014 Kathleen Ferrier Awards. Matthew has worked as a répétiteur at Glyndebourne since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music in 2012. Highlights include working on Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier (2014 Festival), the Ravel Double Bill (2015 Festival) and Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen (2016 Festival). Matthew is a vocal coach at the Royal Academy of Music.
