My name is Mathieu, I’m a 20 year old French-Scottish guitarist-singer from the French Alps. My passion is to send good vibes to people through my music. I have been singing and playing the guitar for many years, the genres I mostly play are Jazz, Soul, Pop, and Acoustic Rock music. I’ve done many events in the last few years, from concerts in restaurants, live music bar’s, to busking at the Fringe, and participating in a festival in my hometown. This August, I have participated at the Edinburgh fringe Festival, the biggest festival of its kind, as a busker in the main streets of the town for a month, and I’m looking forward to develop my career in UK. I’m also working on my first EP as an independent artist

The uniqueness, I bring my personality to the songs I play, and my good vibe connects the people together !

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

In a few open mics in Edinburgh, and in Restaurants back in France.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Jacob Collier, John Mayer, Take That.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I did a gig for a festival of over 3 000 people in spring back in France, a crazy experience.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change, try and let me know as soon as you can, and we’ll arrange it, no problem !

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I will, I’ll have an IPhone on which a playlist will be played before, in between and after the sets, to get the guests ready for the performance !

How much time do you need to set up?

As a solo performer I don’t need much time to set up, I’d usually do this a little bit before the performance time, put a playlist on (with any recommendations taken), and get guests ready for the show !

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I’d happily talk through and play some songs out of the list you enjoy the most !

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do ! All the PA system and musical equipment.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If there’s special song you would like me to play I’d be happy to do this, there’s a fee added for the number of songs asked for !
