I am an Italian-American singer living in London. My background is quite varied: I played in acoustic duos, trios and full bands and am also a lyricist and recording artist. I sing soul, pop, blues, folk, glam rock, bossa nova, world music and electronic chillout. I can sing in English and Italian which are my native languages, as well as Spanish, French and Portuguese. I am available to sing with backing tracks as well as with musicians which I can contact and provide upon request. I booked Mary Jane last minute to substitute the lead singer of my band who fell ill three days before our gig was planned. I was amazed at how she picked up the playlist in no time and delivered a fantastic performance regardless of the very little time she had to put it all together! Absolutely highly recommended!

I asked Mary Jane to perform at my mother's surprise birthday party this year and it was a blast! She sang the whole night without ever getting tired starting with slow jazz and finishing with massive dance hits that got the whole room jiving. Her lovely voice truly delighted us and she even allowed us some mad requests which were amazingly performed on the spot! I was overly satisfied with her work and professional ways and will absolutely have her back for the next party!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible and help to ensure your satisfaction and happiness. If imponga change let me know and I will always do the best that is in my possibility to accommodate your needs.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If course. I usually offer a free set list service with my booking if requested. If you’d like a DJ service that will be provided to you at an extra cost to be negotiated.

How much time do you need to set up?

It depends on the formation you desire. Usually it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to set up and sound check. As soon as we are all set up we can provide a free playlist service to set the mood while the guests settle.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

The set lists that will vary according to the formation required are always chosen on the basis of live experience and are also updated periodically. However I am more than happy to have a chat to the include sing requests and make your experience the best one possible!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Depending on the formation but most of the equipment will be taken by me. PA system may or may not be included.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song is not included in my set list there is still the possibility that I already know it so it is worth asking. If there is a special song you would like me to perform I will be happy to offer this extra service for £40 considering rehearsal times etc.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The greatest feedback I received in many years on stage is on the intensity of performance and on the professionalità with which I handle my work. They love that everything is taken care of and studied in detail. They also appreciate the selection of songs and the way the set lists are thought through fir the event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in live concerts as a solo artist, band and choir member. Festivals like the Sarzana Guitar Meeting, the finest music venues of Rome and Naples such as Fonclea, Asino Che Vola and Stazione Birra as well as theatres. In London I performed in various venues such as Madam Tussaud’s, Rich Mix, Brioche Cafe, The Yard Bar and many private venues.
