Songstress, songwriter and performer, Martyna Baker is from that rare breed of singers whose unique voice cuts across genres. Her self-penned songs are a heady mix of soul, indie, dance and world music, the result being a truly mesmerising and eclectic selection. Having written on Gorgon City’s top ten album, Martyna went on to work with house legend Todd Terry and drum and bass prodigy Lenzman. Alongside this she wrote and produced her debut EP ‘Fear the Fall’ which was released in November 2015. A regular on the ‘London circuit’, her live performances have been known to pull in crowds, her voice lighting up the atmosphere in any venue. Martyna also leads workshops with groups of vulnerable women, helping them to express themselves through the medium of song and create a sense of support and community.

I first saw Martyna perform years ago in Birmingham and I fell in love with her songs so when I was organising my new event TUNE INN I knew I had to have her perform and her voice was just as amazing and I remembered!

Would you like your own personalised song for a wedding or someone specials birthday? As a Singer/Songwriter, Martyna has written hundreds of songs including the hit Elevate by Gorgan City, Paper Faces by Lenzman and many more. What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change in the run up to the event just let me know and we can arrange something.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere in between my live performance.This is a really popular request and I offer this service for an extra £50.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up in 20 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Definitely! I want your event to be exactly what you want and will play to your taste

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If there are special songs you'd like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. The first two are free and there is a £30 fee for each song you would like me to learn after that.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My friendly and funny stage presence as well as my unique and powerful voice. People enjoy the way my original songs take them away and how I add my own personality to my covers.
