Been in the music business since 1989 starting my career with a Reggae Sound System as an Mc . 1994 i started being a dj professionally while still combining with my Mc Skills . But as years have gone by I have devoted all my life to the wheels of steel . Besides playing clubs , festivals , private parties , i am also radio presenter for 3 radio stations , Inspiration Fm 107.8 wednesday 6pm , Deeplomatikk Radio Thursdays 6pm , Drums Radio Sundays 4pm . I have played in and around clubs in UK including Wales . As i write this I am booked for 2 gigs at Monate Sundays in London an Afro House event November 10 , Followed by Licked at Elysium Night Club Northampton November 29 . I have studied Music Technology and Production and I am skilled computer technician . Although Deep house music is now my number one genre , i love all music , from reggae music , dub , drumnbass , rnb , hiphop , afrobeats , afrohouse , afrotech , trap , soul , disco and world music .

Awesome set by Dj Field , he closed the Roof Top Party and people wanted more afterwards . I am looking foward to hiring him again in the near future . Always on point and plays his music with a smile . Great job Dj Field .

It was a pleasure to work with Dj Field who i have hired him several times over the years and at this year's Kaya Festival he set the dance floor alight . I have hired Field for University Gigs , Festivals , In England and Wales . Looking foward to working with him for our next Festival next year .

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am usually flexible , so what ever happens we will find a way to make the party happen . I always try my best to satisfy my customers .

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

As a dj i do not think you will need one , but for weddings where people have got song requests that they want to be played off their phones i am always flexible .

How much time do you need to set up?

I would say 1hr is enough to set up my equipment .

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

As a dj my instruments are my decks and mixer , 2 speakers and a sub woofer . But if you require anything added if i can find it or you can provide it and it works with my equipment i do not see any problem .

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do , depends with what type of venue i am playing at , if its a club usually i just carry my headphones and my music , but for private parties i carry my equipment or hire some editional instruments near the venue . So far so good its worked for me .

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

As a dj i do not need to learn any specific instrument but if the client wants particular music played which they want to provide i am flexible with that .

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I am just an easy going person who loves a good time and love pleasing and entertaining people . I am not a selfish dj . Can play requests all night if need be . The aim is to satisfy the customer and not play for myself . Also i have 29 year of experience in this music business .

I started in Reggae music , my influences range from Barrington Levy , Scientist , Jimmy Cliff , Bob Marley , Horace Andy . Rnb and Soul , Lionel Richie , Michael Jackson , Tina Turner . Dancehall , Shabba Ranks , Shaka Demus , Yellow Man . House Music , Farly Jackmaster Funk , Adeva , Carl Cox , A Guy Called Gerad , Ten City , Inna City . Hiphop LL Cool J.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

It was in Wales , the gig featured Judge Jules on the most respected djs in the business , Craig Charles one of the most respected actors who is also a good Dj and it was an honour for me to play before the last band to such a large crowd . Amazing gig .
