Markus Michelucci

Solo or with his band, Markus has often been likened to James Taylor, Cat Stevens, and Passenger. Always bringing audiences a range of alternative, contemporary folk music from the calm and reassuring to the passionate and cerebral; creating an alluring world of instrumentation, with powerful lead moments, harmony and hopeful, inspiring lyrics. Performing his own original works as well as a vast catalogue of finely crafted cover songs is Markus’ full-time profession and passion. He has performed at festivals, private & community events throughout the UK such as Barnival, Greenwich Tall Ships Festival, Rochester Sweeps Festival, the Minehead Musicians Festival and more. He has performed live on BBC Radio, Shoreditch Radio and regularly on the streets of London at Borough Market, Southbank by the London Eye and farmers markets. Having toured France last summer, they’ll be touring Germany this spring and the United States and Canada come November to support the new release. Markus also just performed with the cellist from his band for Sofar Sounds in Edinburgh this January 2017.
