Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The arrangements, the passion, the classy presentation and the synergy between the event and the performance repertoire.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Various churches in central London and on the fringe, bars, restaurants and wedding venues in Putney and Cambridge.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Jamie Cullum, George Gershwin, Daniel Barenboim and Benjamin Zander.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Just drop me an email. I can be flexible but ideally need a 48 hour window to allow for timing shifts.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No.

How much time do you need to set up?

5 minutes if using own equipment or an acoustic piano at the venue but if connection to a PA is necessary, it may require 10 to 15 minutes.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

“Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can. Although, the setlist on my profile is not definitive. Do send me requests in advance of the event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

“Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play but will require a power supply".

Can you learn song requests before the event?

"If there is a special song you'd like us to learn, I am happy to do this for you".

Mark is a fantastic pianist and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person and was wonderful for our wedding ceremony . Mark was very accommodating going out of his way to make sure he could play specific songs we requested. A number of our guests commented on how good he was and how lovely he was too! Couldn't ask for more. Choosing musicians for such a special day is difficult, you won't be disappointed with Mark so book him now now while you can!

Mark brought my songs to life with his piano playing. I really enjoyed recording with him because he's talented but humble and wants to make sure that you're getting exactly what you want from him when working with him. He doesn't settle until it's as close to your original vision as possible and, when it comes to recording your own music, that's exactly what you need around you. It's your baby and you want to work with someone who gets that and is willing to put in the time to make it work.
