Mark Dowling is a South- East London born pianist who has studied music officially since He was 15. Mark currently studies under Jeremy Davis, a former pupil of Vlado Perlemuter, at the London College of Music. Mark is a Director of Music at Christ Church Anerley, regularly leading group ensembles who play vastly contrasting instruments ranging from Voice, drums, Brass band and Baglama. Mark performs for funerals, accompanies and organises cabaret evenings with singers, was resident pianist at Pizza Express in Beckenham for one year, occasional pianist at Pillars Restaurant, Ealing, and a regular performer at Oatlands care home, working with those affected by Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Mark is proficient in regards to live sound, composing using Midi sequencers and recording platforms such as Logic pro and Pro Tools. Mark recently attained an apple pro certification in Logic Pro x. Mark has completed His undergraduate degree at the London College of Music with 1st class honours and is now studying for a Masters degree in Music Performance with the desire to become a regular performer and Piano tutor at a university level. Mark enjoys reading Christian Theology, Music history and Psychological journals, specifically relating to Music and the Brain. He is also concerned with keeping fit and healthy, regularly attending the Gym and swimming
