I have extensive experience at high profile corporate events, weddings and parties. My music repertoire is extensive and I play music that fits the audience and suits the occasion. It is very important to play the right music for the moment and to make the music flow seamlessly even if I am mixing a variety of genres. I am happy to work in guest requests and am a team player. I have worked extensively between London & the South East of England and the Cote d'Azur (French Riviera) plus many other international locations such as Mallorca, St. Moritz, Florence, Venice, Lake Como (Italy) and Vienna. I love my job as it helps people celebrate and makes them happy! There is nothing better than finishing a set with a warm fuzzy glow because everyone had a great time and are requesting "one more song". I am always happy to oblige (depending on licensing requirements!) I love all great music and genres including contemporary hits, classic gems and indie music. Pop, Disco, Rock, Soul, R&B, Rap, Techno, Dance... you name it and I can work it into a set! I have worked with many high profile celebrities in glamorous locations but am equally happy at a home party. It is the variety and meeting many diverse people that excites me about this job and making sure that they have a great time and that the dance floor is full. My background is in broadcasting and I am also an experienced Master of Ceremonies, helping to bring an event together and to make it flow smoothly and professionally with a personal touch. I love introducing spontaneity into an evenings entertainment. Being open to those elements can really help make the event very special and memorable for everyone.

Mark was superb throughout the process, from booking right through to the end of the event. He was very thorough with planning ahead, punctual on the night and read the room very well throughout the event. I was complimented many times on the choice of DJ, would absolutely recommend!

Mark Dezzani was our chosen DJ for The Victoria Foundation Annual Fundraising Charity Ball in December 2022 and 2023. Mark was very organised on the lead up to the events and during the evenings helping to ensure the events were a great success. We discussed our themes pre-event and he selected appropriate background music during the evening and the disco session. I am delighted to recommend Mark Dezzani as a DJ for events.

Mark provided the music entertainment for my 60th birthday Party in September 2023. I hired him as I had attended several events where he was the DJ and was very impressed with his music selection and ability to judge the mood of the audience and the dance floor. For me, dancing was a very important part of my party and he didn’t disappoint. It was a multi-generational party and all ages were catered for. He also managed a dance performance by my Book Club and a line dancing lesson given by a friend of mine. I would not hesitate in recommending him.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I love working with clients and event organisers as a team effort to give the best possible experience. I read the crowd and am constantly updating and improvising my set to build an atmosphere and to keep the punters on the dancefloor. I do my homework with the client prior to the event but react and adapt in real time to keep things spontaneous.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club, Richmond; Union Bar, Chiswick; Turtle Bay, Hammersmith; Stars n Bars, Monaco; La Rascasse, Monaco; Villa Rothschild, St, Jean Cap Ferrat; Many Yachts including Christina O and Delphine; Cannes Film Festival; Monaco Grand Prix;

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Too many to mention. I have an eclectic taste in music and love the floor-fillers from ABBA, Gloria Gaynor and Boney M to Indie rock artists such as The Cure and Primal Scream to rockers such as AC/DC, The Killers and classic pop, rock, R&B, Soul and dance.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

On a private yacht in Monaco for the the family of HSH Albert II of Monaco and on the private yacht of a major R&B star at the Cannes Film festival.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I am flexible about timings. I am happy to adapt to shifting timings. We can negotiate an additional hourly fee if the event extends beyond the agreed time.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Prior to my DJ set I can compile a bespoke playlist to play during dinner or cocktails. I often play some of these sequences live to adapt to and match the ambience and to help warm up the guests.

How much time do you need to set up?

I generally need about 2 hours set up prior to the guest arrival time to make sure that everything is set up in a calm and relaxed way and to sound check.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I am a party DJ and discuss music preferences with my clients prior to the event. I am also happy to take requests from guests if the client wishes me to do so but within the music remit provided by the client.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I provide the sound system and lighting effects and wireless microphones for any speeches.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Happy to play any requested songs.
