Hello my name is Maria and i come from Greece! I started playing the violin since i was 7 years old. I have got the diploma from new conservatory of Thessaloniki. Though this years i had the chance to perform with different orchestras in different projects playing classical, Greek music and Greek folk music, tango, jazz and pop. I am a holder of Bachelor degree in violin performance from codarts University of the arts. i have performed in many halls, in many events and churches in Greece, the Netherlands and Czech republic.

I had the pleasure to work with Maria in the context of a rehearsal and a studio recording. She was on time, prepared, easy going and serious in both occasions. I really enjoyed her behavior and her professionalism, I will for sure ask her again for other jobs in the future!

Maria played the violin during the meeting of our Book Club! It was a great experience to listen to such a masterful playing! The sound was crystal clear and the melodies were played beautifully and emotionally! It is obvious that violin is her passion! Do you have different line-up options?

I perform as a solo but many times with duo violins, piano & violin or cello & violin. Just let me know what you really need!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

It's okay! It can always happen. Just let me know in advance!

How much time do you need to set up?

30 to 1 hour.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My list is based of what i have played in my concerts. Of course i am open to chat with you and have a conversation about the list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

yes! I bring my own instrument to play accoustically

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes! If you want any piece just let me know. It depends of course the difficulty and the time it needs to be prepared. Can be an extra charge (not up to 20). Just let me know in advance!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I am friendly and flexible. I do my best to make my clients happy. What i want the most is to make them have fun and enjoy my music. I want to transparent my love for what i do and this is music!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

i have performed in many weddings (Greece & Albania), I have performed with orchestras around Greece and the Netherlands but also as a soloist in Czech republic as well. With trio in a private event and as a soloist in a neghbouhoud's party festival.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

For me each gig has something special. But if i have to choose the most high profile gig is the the when i play in the international film festival of Rotterdam.
