It’s been my dream to have Cellists play at my wedding, and Margit and Adrianne were absolutely spectacular- even down to the fact that they dressed to fit the colour scheme for my wedding. We adored hearing them play classical music throughout our ceremony, and then some requested pop songs during toasts after the ceremony- we’ve had so many wonderful comments about how lovely the music was, they really added to making our day special. Thankyou so much x

We just wanted to say a huge thank you one more time for being part of our special day and making it even more special. When we heard the first notes of “I can’t help falling in love”, it made us both tear up, and the way you had arranged it was exactly as we had imagined it! And we heard so many positive comments from our guests about the music choices, and about your performance throughout the day. Thanks again for being part of our day.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

- The sheer variety of songs we have available - Our personable and friendly service, which also resonates through every single piece we play - Our aim to make the booking experience as easy as possible, with a performance that's tailored exactly to your requirements.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

MANY! - Beautiful country homes and wedding venues notably in the North West of England - London: exceptionally beautiful hotels and venues including the Ritz, Savoy etc - Glastonbury main stage, Wembley arena, The Royal Albert Hall etc

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Every single performance is special to us, be it playing in a children's hospital, to elaborate wedding ceremonies, to performing on TV or radio with the likes of Jools Holland.

Do you have different line-up options?

We perform as a duo, but if you should require a cello quartet this is also an option, please enquire. For solo cello please see "Margit van der Zwan" also listed on the Encore Agency.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We aim to be as flexible as possible for you, so if there's a change to your timings just let us know! During peak season we can have as many as three bookings on one day, but will always do our best to make your event as perfect as possible.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually arrive between 30-60 minutes before the start time so we are warmed up and ready to play in good time.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes! We understand how personal a music selection can be. Either send us your specific song list, or feel free to leave the choice up to us. From years of experience we have a pretty good idea what will work best!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. All we require on the day is a nearby socket and two chairs without arms. For booking longer than 2 hours we kindly request some light refreshments.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. Sometimes a small fee may apply for this service to take into account costs, rehearsal, arranging etc.
