On leaving school, I qualified as a teacher of music - my degree is from Southampton University. Initially I taught music in schools and trained choirs. I provided background music at many varied events throughout the 1990s and 2000s and eventually decided to follow my passion of making people feel good by setting up my own business. I have played for weddings, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays and still continue to do so. I have been a part-time organist at St Cyprians Church, Hay Mills, Birmingham and full-time organist at St Giles Church, Sheldon, Birmingham since the late 1990s. My passion for accompanying led me to become accompanist for “The Heart of England Singers” in 1997. I have recently joined the “Lynts Trio” - a very talented brass threesome - and we have been performing Piano Quartets since October 2017 in and around Solihull.
