I am a countertenor (male mezzo) specialized in Renaissance and Baroque music. I am also interested in 18th century venetian composers.

M. Marco Di Chio is a baroque opera singer. He completed his BA and MA in Renaissance - Baroque Music Repertoire at the Conservatorio di Verona “E. F. Dall’Abaco” with Cristina Miatello and Opera with Maria Sokolinska Noto. He studied Vocal Performances at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow with Iain Paton. Marco sang in many concerts and operas around Italy and United Kingdom as soloist and sometimes in little ensembles. At the same time, He started to focus his attention on musicological and historical researches on Venetian composers of the eighteenth-century and their works. He published seven books, which are used in many academic institutions and in many libraries.
