Customer questions
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I'm normally flexible so will try my best to adapt if timings change.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
I have a bluetooth (wireless) PA system to which any phone or Ipod can connect to. I'm happy to provide this service for free.
How much time do you need to set up?
I need about 15-30min to set up. As soon as my guitar and PA system are up and running I'm happy to start my playlist provided.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
I'm happy to amend the order of the playlist or play just the songs that you pick from the playlist.
My repertoire is still expanding as I have just started out.
I currently have about 3 hours worth of music, plus or minus a couple of extra songs, but I wish to update this soon.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, I bring all my own equipment and play acoustically, no modifications to my voice or the guitar.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
I'm well up for learning a new song. It will depend however on the difficulty of the song and the time available to practice. This can be discussed with me personally. I would charge £10 for any additional song that I would then learn before the event.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Honestly, I am just starting out as a Musician, so I have very little feedback to go by.
Having said that, when I busk on the streets, people have complimented me on my "enticing" voice and an excellent mix of modern and classic rock songs.
I guess everyone must start somewhere and I wish to embark upon my dream to play my guitar for a living.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
I very much enjoy soulful pop artists such as Rag'n'Bone Man, Jack Savoretti and Hozier.
My favourite taste of music is often the most basic stripped down acoustic versions of famous songs and old classics.
