Manouche Ganoush was formed in January 2022 by band leader & clarinettist, Joe Allen looking to find other musicians who were in love with Swing Manouche (Gypsy Jazz) & Klezmer as much as he was. The band is made up of a star cast of some of Leeds finest musicians (we all met whilst studying and working at Leeds Conservatoire), and with a wide variety of tunes & styles under our belts you can be guaranteed a high class band who can cater to your event no matter the occasion and wow your guests!

Brilliant band. They caterered to our requests. We booked them for our wedding; they were very helpful with picking our first dance song. They ended up learning a new song for us. Joe the band lead communicated really well. Their performance was brilliant. I would recommend them.

I attended a gig that Manouche Ganoush were playing as a punter. It was just the level I was looking for that evening and honestly was one of the best live music nights I've been to in a while, I was still thinking about it a couple of days later! Also their version of Rasputin was just inspired!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our 5 piece line up is Clarinet, Accordion, Guitar, Bass, Drums Our 4 piece line up is Clarinet, Bass, Drums + Guitar or Accordion Our 3 piece line up is Clarinet, Bass, Guitar We can also add a guest vocalist if required.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help your event run as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, we can provide an iPod/Playlist service before & between sets, if requested, for free. If you would like an iPod/Playlist service after our final set until the venue closes then we can provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We've crafted our set lists to ensure the music runs smoothly and both you and your guests have the most amazing time. However, we'd be more than happy to chat to you during the pre-event online consultation to discuss the set, chat about any special requests and make sure we find what works for your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
