We are a 5 peace band playing the mandolin, guitars, fiddles, tin whistles, covering Irish, Folk, Country and Rock music from 1000 years ago to recent numbers. We're ideal for any audience and recently reported as "Slightly Pirate" by Hughie Dixon of Hayes FM. The Mandolin Monday guys gave a fantastic gig at St. John’s Church in Hillingdon on Saturday evening. My relatives really loved it too. This group is well worth booking. Alan, local Vicar. Lots of praise this morning for Mandolin Monday from a party guest. ” I told my daughter , one minute he was singing a folk song and the next it was The Killers .” S S Uxbridge In a recent visit to 91.8 Hayes FM where we played live, our Hour and 5 songs turned into 2 hours, 10 songs and an interview. "So easy to give 5 stars to this band. Pleasant guys, easy to work with and musically very talented and versatile. The ideal band if you have an audience spanning a wide age range. They were more than a band playing, they were true entertainers.Their repertoire ranged from Irish through folk to excellent covers of the Eagles, Oasis, Rod Stewart and Elvis to name a few. Each member took turns to front the vocals and all harmonised beautifully together. They came complete with their own sound man who monitored throughout the whole gig and the sound quality was the best I've heard in our venue. The clarity of the vocals and balance with instruments was spot on and you could still hear what the person next to you was saying!I have no hesitation in giving this band a very honest and well deserved 5 star rating." "An incredibly diverse, skilled and uplifting band that harmonises stunningly. Saw them at Woodlarks Campsite on the 26/07/18 after they had been asked back for the second time, and will be again. From lively Irish Folk. powerful Rock thru to haunting melodies accompanied by the tin whistle, this band appeals to a huge age range and are superb value for money at any event. They created an amazing atmosphere from start to finish and were quoted by another skilled musician there 'as not just being a great band but also friends and are welcome there anytime'. Other camp leaders there had booked them for their camps by the end of the evening. They never disappoint." "Mandolin Monday came to play at mine and my boyfriend's joint birthday party. We booked them because we have seen them play at many events in the past and think they are amazing! They sound brilliant, they get everyone up and dancing, they play a real mix of music, they are professional and a real joy to watch and listen to! I highly recommend them!" "We booked this band based only on finding a local band to us. They were realistically priced for our small event (30/40 people) and it was a garden birthday party. Booking was easy, (couple of phone calls and a couple of emails) the band were not only good, but friendly and professional. It was great to see young lads learning the trade. Most of all though their music and singing was excellent! they held the audience attention and played a good mix of tunes. I would recommend them to anyone!"
