Maggie performed at our opera gala as part of the Wrotham Music Festival in August. She was charming and great fun. Her lovely voice was a highlight of a successful afternoon.

‘I had the pleasure of collaborating with mezzo-soprano Maggie Cooper on a creative experience where classical songs inspired a live art performance at a private venue in Sevenoaks. Portrait of a woman explored themes of women's lives through both visual art and live music. Maggie’s powerful voice became the thread that seamlessly connected sound, image, and emotion, creating a deeply immersive and moving experience for our audience. Her presence on stage brought the artwork to life, and her exceptional talent left a lasting impression on everyone involved.’

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

NA

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually do a sound check 1 hour before the performance time. This usually takes about 10mins, unless the performance needs rehearsing with other musicians or performers.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are just a guide and not extensive lists of my repertoire. I’m always happy to chat through repertoire and make sure we find what works for you event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

NA

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

My song list is just a guide and not extensive. If a song isn’t included in my song list there is still a chance that I already know it. If there is a special song you would like me to learn I am happy to do this for you. If I am given less than a months notice there is a fee of £50 to take into account my extra learning time.
