Madison Heights Soul Band is a ten-piece, authentic soul band, who deliver an energetic and exciting performance of classic songs by the legends of soul and Motown. We are based in Hampshire. An all live band with a big sound, who consistently deliver memorable and professional performances for wedding receptions, corporate functions, private parties & many more occasions. Madison Heights was formed in 2000 in by a group of talented musicians based in Hampshire who love to get people up on the dance floor having a good time and a great night out! We have seen too many wedding bands going through the motions or taking themselves too seriously. We arrive on the stage and from right from the very first track, all the way until the very last, we put 100% energy and passion into every single one of our live performances. We regularly have performances around where we are based, so if you live in the Hampshire area be sure you come and see us live for yourself. We for certain you’ll like us and our music.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Male lead vocal, female lead vocal, 2 female backing singers, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Saxophone and Trumpet.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we provide an iPod service during the evening. This is a totally free service. If you require an additional live DJ, this will charged as an extra cost

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this if it fits within our style of music. There is a additional fee payable for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
