Formed in 2016, Madison Avenue UK are an established live function band based in the Midlands. Our 10 piece lineup provides a big, vibrant sound, with the perfect blend of vocals and instruments to bring to life some of the most iconic soul, Motown, and disco numbers across various decades - perfect for any party or function where you want to keep your guests dancing all night long. With three lead vocalists, a three-piece horns section, and a tight backline, there is no substitute for a band of our size when you want to create a memorable atmosphere.

We held an event for our employer awards, where Madison Avenue UK played at the end of the awards ceremony. The 10 piece soul band were a great hit with everyone of all ages, both men and women. It’s unusual for a dance floor to be full all night - people really enjoyed themselves. The sound was amazing and the singers were stunning. An all-round fabulous band who I would recommend for any occasion. Versatile, accommodating, talented people, creating amazing entertainment. So great I have booked them for my wedding!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

With the size of our band and the variety of instruments we possess we are able to create a much bigger and fuller sound when compared to smaller bands, as well as being able to represent the original songs that we play more accurately. This is perfect for larger events or an extra special occasion.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We try to gig with all three singers, but sometimes only two are available - any combination has a large repertoire and will include harmonies and duets.

Do you have different line-up options?

We can cut down to 8 but prefer 10 in order to provide a full-band experience. If space is an issue we can discuss different set up options in order to accommodate.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem, just talk to us and we will work out a solution between us.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide background music via a Spotify playlist in the intervals if required.

How much time do you need to set up?

We require at least 90 minutes to fully set up and sound-check, after which we can play background music until we begin our set.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can select a few favourites for us definitely to play, and maybe the odd one to avoid if you wish. You can also influence the content, i.e. genre, how many slow songs etc.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Of course, our quotes include full PA and lighting equipment as well as a qualified sound engineer to provide the most premium sound for your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We will consider requests if they usefully add to our repertoire; we will learn a first dance for a wedding (as long as it fits within our instrumentation and vocalists and the request is registered when the booking is made).
