I am Maddie. A professional saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist. I have a versatile experience in performance and playing ranging from being a classical, jazz and DJ sax live soloist to big bands and pit orchestras that involves many genres of music and many instruments. My theatre and musical experience includes performing in productions such as the 30th Anniversary Revival of Fame at Theatre Royal Plymouth, as well as the 2025 Sevenoaks Pantomime. I have also performed in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Richmond Theatre, A Christmas Carol at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds, and Kinky Boots at the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe. At the Gallery Studio Theatre in Ipswich, I have worked on productions including The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾, and Fun Home. Other theatre credits include Chicago with Oundle School and One Six Form College and Company at Hampton Hill Theatre. My professional recording experience includes playing Alto Flute and Clarinet on Woodcut, a studio album by international touring progressive-rock band Big Big Train. I have also recorded saxophone for a pop artist session with Em Prada at Abbey Road Studios. In addition, I performed saxophone and vocals for From the Earth to the Moon, a play featuring incidental music which is available for streaming on Spotify. I have performed with various Big Bands, as well as in a Classical Saxophone Quartet and Saxophone Duo including a performance for Her Royal Highness Princess Anne. I also work and play with singer-songwriter Rose White. This work has built my versatility across classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary styles. I have lots of experience in function and commercial music include performing with the Itchy Feet House Band, The Deps, and Platinum Jazz Band, as well as working in solo, duo, trio, and quartet jazz settings. I have also performed saxophone and clarinet for the Great Gatsby live immersive experience. I cater to the event and what is desired. Whether that’s the lush atmospheric background jazz, the perfect wedding aisle song or bringing the party to the dance floor. As a trained musician from the Royal College of Music, I achieved my degree in both jazz and classical saxophone. With several years since his time, I have a great experience of being a multi-instrumentalist, meaning I also add clarinet and flute to the right event when desired.
