Lydia Shariff

Lydia Shariff is a British Mezzo-Contralto and recent graduate of the Master’s programme at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Book now for weddings, funerals, choral events, parties and more. In recent years, Lydia has been fortunate enough to work with industry greats such as Roderick Williams OBE, Kamal Khan, Julia Bullock, Paula Murrihy, and Gweneth Ann Rand. Based in London, Lydia has performed across the UK, Europe and in Asia. A soloist with repertoire spanning from Bach to Berio, Lydia is accomplished in both Classical and Jazz repertoire, and has performed as a soloist in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Bridgewater Hall, and at The Barbican Centre. Lydia has been fortunate enough to receive significant young operatic training in recent years from companies such as The Glyndebourne Academy and British Youth Opera, and she recently made her operatic debut on the renowned stage at Clonter Opera Theatre.
