Customer questions
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I am happy to talk to you in detail about any changes. I appreciate that things can change as events are planned and I will always try my best to work around your plans.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, a phone can be plugged into my set up. I can play playlists of your choosing or you can even plug into my system to take control.
How much time do you need to set up?
I need about 1 hour 20 to set up and make sure everything is working ahead of my performance. This can be less if the room is well set up with appropriate power and space.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
I know a huge range of songs as I have been playing for so many years. I always have a setlist that is used as a basis for my shows. However, I am happy to add certain songs for you and I always change and shape to the audience as needed the night.
I am yet to find a musician who is better at requests!
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
I have full PA and equipment. Here are my three set up options
1) I can play with a powerful looper for a full sound and high energy.
2) I can use my guitar, vocals and a stomp pedal. This is my standard set up and is great for getting people involved.
3) I can use just my acoustic guitar and vocals for a chilled sound. More suitable for relaxed events.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes I can if I am given a good amount of time. On the day of the event I am known to take sensible requests. If I know the song I will try it for you! This has really wowed audiences at a lot of my gigs before.
